A unique opportunity to be professionally trained in making upper end quality Fair Linen Altar Cloths.

​

This is an intensive 6 day workshop - You will learn professional techniques in creating handmade altar cloths  with perfect mitered corners - learn how to accurately measure and create altar cloths perfectly every time.  You will make your own altar cloth completely by hand.

​

Techniques include preshrinking the linen - accurately measuring and cutting linen - professional ironing techniques - how to hand draw threads - basting - and always creating perfect hems.  

 

This workshop is open to one or two people that will be working on the same altar cloth.   If there is a group that would like to come we can create a  customized fee especially if the group would be making more than one altar cloth.

Requirements for this class:  We will need the measurements of your church altar.  You will need hemstitching experience.   You may add a two day Intro Hemstitching Class to this workshop to obtain this necessary skill.
